Traditonal Karuk Basket Weaving:  Classes are held in the weaving room in the People's Center every Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 pm and are led by master Karuk basket weaver, Brittany Souza. Although not a requirement, attendees are encouraged to bring their own material for weaving. Students learn about materials traditional to Karuk Basketry, how to weave open and closed weave baskets, and how to prepare materials.
