The Program provides access to educational supportive and culturally based tribal services and activities to eligible tribal students experiencing chronic truancy challenges and are at risk of academic failure.
At this time, the program considers every Karuk student at risk due to schools switching to distance learning.
We will be operating during the summer for youth in Summer School.
1. Member of Karuk Tribe(or enrolled descendant) residing within the Karuk Tribe Service Area, and
2. In 5th through 12th grade, and
3. Experiencing challenges with chronic truancy and at risk of academic failure( grade point average below 2.0.)
