Legal Assistance & Education Project
The Karuk Tribal Court Self Users Program is designed to assist Native American self - represented litigants fill out court papers, understand the legal process in child and family court and learn about other resources available to them.

Karuk Circles of Care IV & Tribal Youth Leadership News Flash:
August 12, 2009 Indigenous youth participants created this video at the National Indian Child Welfare Association's Circles of Care Grantee meeting in Denver, CO. The youth participated in a workshop lead by Native artists Bunky Echo-Hawk and David Bernie. They learned photography, filmmaking, participated in group discussions, and created an interactive LIVE art painting. The youth decided that with a strong spiritual commitment, we can start to overcome the effects of genocide in our Indigenous communities.
